A good review on an up and coming band from LA. The writer discusses where each band member came from and their musical style. Includes early full page photos of the group.

A great issue with Jim on the cover which was taken in June of 1969 in front of a Juan O'Gorman mural in Maximilian's Palace in Mexico City. This issue includes the Anatomy Of Rock poem from Jim Morrison with four exclusive photos taken by Susan Hyman in Jim's hotel room after the Philadelphia concert in September 19th, 1969. Also, there is an excellent five-pages review of the Morrison Hotel album by Chris Reabur called Morrison Hotel Revisited with many exclusive pics from the Doors performance in Madison Square Garden performance in January 24th, 1969. Finally, a full-page ad for Absolutely Live album is on the back cover of the magazine. If you come across this issue of Jazz & Pop, get it, you will be not disappointed.
This French magazine contains a fourteen-page article on the Isle of Wight festival in August 29th-30th, 1970. Although the article doesn't focus on Doors performance, the journalist give a very interesting review of their concert. There are some exclusive photos from the Doors concert with a great close shot in color of Jim and Robby.
A three-page article in French to commemorate the death of Jim Morrison wrote by Philippe Paringaux who seems to be a great fan of the lead singer of the Doors. Also included, a Jim's photo which was taken possibly from the Isle of Wight performance. The writer close this article with a very good Jim's quote from An American Prayer : ' O great creator of being grant us one more hour to perform our art And perfect our lives. '
A great four-page review of the Doors and Jefferson Airplane concert by Guy Kopelowicz at the Roundhouse in September 6th, 1968 including exclusive pics from the performance. Of course, this article is in French.

A very interesting two-page review of the Absolutely Live album written by Karin Berg including some nice info about the Felt Forum performance in January 18th, 1970 and the press party at the New York Hilton the day after the Felt Forum shows where the journalist was present and briefly talked with Morrison. Also, a short interview by Chuck Pulin with a publicist and friend of Jim, Mike Gershman, about the Jim's trial in Miami. This interview which was taken place between August 27th and September 2nd (probably in late August) is very interesting although it is very short.
